AI Governance & EU AI Act Readiness

Comprehensive EU AI Act readiness programme for a German healthcare organisation with 8,000 employees — covering inventory, risk classification, governance design, and documentation across seven active AI tools in TA.

The challenge

The organisation had seven AI-related features active across their ATS and assessment stack — none formally documented, none with defined human oversight processes. The internal audit function had flagged AI governance as a priority risk area ahead of EU AI Act enforcement.

Our approach

Full AI footprint inventory across the TA tech stack. Risk classification under EU AI Act Annex III. Human-in-the-loop process design for each high-risk AI application. Governance policy design, accountability framework, and monitoring cadence. Technical documentation aligned to EU AI Act requirements. Internal audit briefing.

Outcome

All seven AI tools documented, classified, and governed within 14 weeks. Human oversight processes embedded in the ATS workflow. Governance documentation approved by internal audit. Organisation assessed as substantially compliant with EU AI Act requirements ahead of enforcement deadline.
